Sohail Ahmad – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sohail Ahmad completed his B.Sc. Civil Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore Pakistan. He is a professional member of Pakistan Engineering Council. He has worked in different organizations and projects in Pakistan in varying capacities. He started his career as Site Engineer and Team Leader for the execution and supervision for construction works for different commercial buildings across Pakistan in Asian Construction Company from March 1991 to June 1994. Then he joined Adnan Asdar and Associates as project Manager for building projects in Lahore, Faisalabad region and performed planning, supervision of construction of activities, liaison with consultants, client and contractor and quality control from June1994 to Dec. 1996.

He served as Chief Executive at Mir Associates from Jan. 1996 to Dec. 2002 and looked after the affairs of the firm including construction management, business development and quality control for construction projects in Pakistan. He has now been acting as Chief Executive of Building Standards since Jan. 2002 and is responsible for performing the overall supervision and quality control for material testing and geo environmental sites all over Pakistan and preparation of engineering reports. During this period he has completed more than one fifty sites successfully

Muhammad Zahid Aziz- Geological Engineer

Mr. Zahid completed his BSc in Geological Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore in 2007. During his studies, he completed following projects :

• Formation evaluation of Adi Oil Field by well log interpretation.
• Kinematics analysis of slopes by using dips software.
• Preparation of a time contour map and propose the location of well by using geophysical data.
• Slope stability analysis by using slice method.
• Drawing of the flow nets of dam.
• Drawing of the shape and size of a tunnel.
• Special methods of tunneling.

He has been working at Building Standards as Geotechnical Engineer since August 2008 and has been performing geotechnical laboratory testing of construction materials and preparing geotechnical reports. Earlier he worked in Pearl NLC W.L.L in QATAR as a Geotechnical Engineer at Barwa City housing Project and Lusail Development Project

Tariq Mahmood Butt - Geologist

Mr. Tariq holds a masters degree in Applied Geology from University of the Punjab, Lahore (1985-1986) and has worked as Geotechnical Engineer for different sites all over Pakistan. During the course of service, he has supervised following geotechnical sites as a geotechnical incharge to identify and evaluate geological hazards and analysis of in situ samples taken during boring procedures :
